General business conditions

Contract / Reservation Agreement
The contract (hereinafter referred to as "reservation") is created based on a reservation made by the customer and its acceptance by the provider. The customer may request a reservation through the reservation system on the website www.birds-eye-view.sk

Payments, Billing, and Payment Terms
Payment options:

1. Invoice payment option – You will receive a pro forma invoice by email based on the reservation, with a request for payment. If the pro forma invoice is not paid by the due date, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
2. Via Stripe – You can pay with VISA, MASTERCARD, or AMERICAN EXPRESS cards.

– The customer is obligated to pay the agreed price for the services provided, based on the reservation confirmation filled in the reservation system on the website www.birds-eye-view.sk, which will be sent to the provided email with a payment request or a payment confirmation.
– The provider is entitled to increase accommodation prices if local taxes increase, but only by the amount of the tax increase.
Contractual Obligations of the Parties, Accommodation Services, Handover, and Return of Accommodation Space

The provider agrees to:
Issue and attach an invoice as a tax document.
The customer agrees to:
– Respect safety instructions.
– Pay the agreed rental price.
– Comply with the provider's regulations.

Check-in / check-out
Check-in: From 14:00 on the day of arrival.
Check-out: By 12:00 on the day of departure.

Provider’s Regulations
– The guest may not move the furniture, make modifications, or interfere with the electrical network or other installations in the rental space without the provider’s consent.
– The customer may not use their own electrical appliances in the rental space.
– Smoking is not allowed indoors. The use of any narcotics or psychotropic substances in the rental space is strictly prohibited.
– It is forbidden to bring any animals into the rental space without prior consultation and approval from the provider.

Safety Instructions
Entry to the rental space is allowed only to those who have been informed of the safety instructions and have signed a statement of consent. Only after that will they be allowed to enter the rental space.

Children
Children are allowed to enter the rental space only if accompanied by their legal guardian or an accompanying adult who is fully responsible for them. There is no minimum age for children.

Complaints, Cancellation Policy, Changes to Reservation
Complaints are handled:

– By phone (on business days from 9:00 to 17:00 at phone number +421 903 504 406)
– By email (info@birds-eye-view.sk)

Cancellation Policy
– Free cancellation is possible only if the rental is canceled more than 40 days before the rental period.

40 - 22 days before arrival:
– If the reservation is canceled within this period before the rental period, the provider guarantees a refund of 80% of the received payment, or the option to change the reservation date within the current season, depending on availability.

21 - 8 days before arrival:
– If the reservation is canceled within this period before the rental period, the provider guarantees a refund of 50% of the received payment or the option to change the reservation date within the current season, depending on availability.

7 days or less before arrival:
– If the reservation is canceled 7 days or less before arrival, the provider charges a cancellation fee of 100% of the received payment, and the original reservation date cannot be changed.
